1. Purpose
These terms set out the conditions for using the app and its services provided by the Developer, and the rights, duties, and responsibilities of the Developer and the user.
2. Definitions
- “User”: a person who installs and uses the app under these terms
- “Program”: an interval setup made of warm-up, run, walk, repeats, and cool-down
- “Run history”: the time, distance, per-interval results, route, and other records the app keeps of your runs
- “Remove Ads”: a one-time purchase that removes all ads from the app
3. Effect and changes
- These terms take effect when you install or use the app.
- The Developer may change these terms within the law. We will announce changes in the app or on this page at least 7 days before they take effect (30 days for changes that are unfavorable to you).
- If you don’t agree to the changed terms, you may stop using and delete the app. Continuing to use it after the effective date means you accept them.
4. The service
- The app signals interval changes by voice, haptics, and countdown according to your program, measures distance and pace, and shows your run history and summaries.
- You can start, pause, and end a run from the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island (Live Activity), from widgets, and from Control Center.
- If you allow it, your run history syncs between your devices through your own iCloud.
You are responsible for your safety while exercising. The app is not a medical service and gives no medical advice. If you have health concerns, talk to a doctor before exercising. While running, watch traffic and the path, and keep headphone volume low enough to hear your surroundings. Distance, pace, and calories burned are estimates from GPS and the values you enter, and may differ from reality.
5. Conditions of use
- The app is for people aged 14 and over.
- You can use the app without allowing location, but distance and pace won’t be available. Without motion access, auto-pause won’t work.
- You are responsible for managing your device’s location, notification, and background settings so the app can work properly.
6. Ads
- The app is free to use. To cover running costs, ads (Google AdMob) may appear on the History tab and when you close a run summary. We don’t put ads on the running screen.
- The advertising identifier is used only if you allow it, and in the EU, UK, and similar regions a consent step is shown first.
- Buying Remove Ads removes the app’s ads and the ad consent prompts.
7. Paid services and payment
- Payment is made through in-app purchase on the Apple App Store. Prices are shown in the app and on the App Store purchase screen; currency and tax follow your App Store country or region.
- Remove Ads is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. With the same Apple Account, you can restore it on another device with “Restore Purchase” in the app.
- Remove Ads removes this app’s ads only and does not include other paid features that may be released later (for example, an Apple Watch app).
8. Rights
- You own your run history. The Developer doesn’t take it or keep it on a server.
- The app’s screens, text, design, and software belong to the Developer. You have only the right to use the app for personal purposes.
9. Prohibited conduct
You must not do the following. If we confirm such conduct, we may restrict your use of the service.
- Reverse-engineering the app or service, or interfering with normal operation
- Trying to bypass purchase verification or ads
- Reselling the app or its output without the Developer’s permission
- Falsifying distance or records, for example by faking location, to show others false information
10. Withdrawal and refunds
- Payments and refunds follow Apple’s policies. Request a refund from Apple directly at reportaproblem.apple.com. The Developer doesn’t receive payments or issue refunds directly.
- Once Remove Ads is applied, delivery of the digital content has begun, so withdrawal rights may be limited under applicable consumer law.
- If you paid but Remove Ads isn’t applied, first tap “Restore Purchase”; if that doesn’t help, contact us.
11. Changing or ending the service
- The Developer may change the service and its prices, and will announce important changes in advance.
- All or part of the service may pause briefly because of maintenance, outages, or problems at third-party services (Apple, Google, etc.). Run history is stored on your device, and we will try to keep it viewable on your device even if the service pauses.
- If we end the service, we will announce it in the app 30 days before.
12. Limitation of liability
- The Developer is not liable for damage caused by things beyond the Developer’s control, such as natural disasters, network outages, GPS error, or failures of third-party services, unless the Developer acted intentionally or with gross negligence.
- The Developer is not liable for accidents, injuries, or health problems during exercise, unless the Developer acted intentionally or with gross negligence.
- The Developer is not liable for damage caused by your breach of these terms or improper use of the app.
13. Personal information
Your personal information is handled under the separate Privacy Policy, which you can also find in the app’s Settings and on the App Store page.
14. Governing law and disputes
- These terms are interpreted and applied under the laws of the Republic of Korea.
- The Developer and you will try in good faith to resolve disputes by discussion. If that fails, the dispute will be resolved in the competent court under the Civil Procedure Act.
